Welcome to our 1st 5K Charity Run/Walk Event
Helia Healthcare of Energy, Illinois is proud to announce our 1st Annual Charity event to benefit 5 local charities. We are hosting a 5K Run/Walk April 13th, 2013 at 3:00 pm at 210 East College St in Energy, Illinois 62933. We are very excited to be able to lend a helping hand to our local communities.
We will also be holding a raffle for various goodies and door prizes. Must be present to win! Serving Hands Reaching OutOur goal is to raise money for the following 5 Southern Illinois charities who have taken upon themselves to reach out and serve others within the community. The charities to receive proceeds are Pat's Kids, Gum Drops, The Herrin House of Hope, K.I.D.S Foundation, and The Family Crisis Center of Herrin.

to insure that sexually and physically abused children get a visit from Santa. EVERY penny of EVERY donation goes to the children.  Gum DropsGum Drops, NFP provides a weekend backpack of child-friendly food to help enhance the quality of life for at-risk children throughout Southern Illinois. This program removes barriers to academic success for these at-risk children. It is very likely that these at-risk children will endure lifelong consequences as a result of having limited or no food. HUNGER DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE.

 House of HopeThe Herrin House of Hope seeks to help the poor and needy in the Herrin area chart a new course for their lives and find hope for the future. It is a cooperative Christian ministry of Herrin's churches, businesses and ordinary people committed to giving hope for those who are struggling in life. We follow the example of Jesus who came with good news for the poor and freedom for the oppressed (Luke 4:18).

 K.I.D.S FoundationK.I.D.S. (Kids In Difficult Situations) Foundation was created in January 2002 to help at-risk children in Franklin and Williamson Counties. Each year we have more requests for help than we have resources to provide assistance to the students in our schools. For more details:
